Only the Vanguard, a Foreign Legion of outcasts seeking an alternative path in the dust between the city states, might be able to help her figure out what went wrong. First, though, she'll have to escape the seething streets of Berlin alive.

Review

Dark and complicated, but without letting the world and setting overshadow the characters and story.

Price masterfully weaves together a fascinating tale, chockfull of despair, desperation, and grim determination… interspersed with moments of humor, love, and hope. I enjoyed Reality Testing, on the whole, and recommend it to fellow fans of cyberpunk.
